My mom got this recipe from a friend who is allergic to sugar! So this poor soul makes treats and brings them to her friends to let her know if they are good or not.

Tips:

  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth, rich texture. If you prefer a chunkier cookie, use crunchy peanut butter.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set around the edges, but still soft in the center. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before storing them. This will help them keep their shape and prevent them from becoming soggy.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Conclusion:

Peanut butter cookies are a classic treat that are easy to make and loved by people of all ages. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create delicious, chewy cookies that are perfect for any occasion.
