We served these about 5 years ago at a New Year Eve's party. I don't remember where I got the recipe.

Provided by 4-H Mom

Categories     Beverages

Time 5h5m

Yield 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (16 ounce) package frozen unsweetened peaches, thawed
1 quart peach juice
1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine
1 (12 ounce) can apricot nectar
1 cup granulated sugar

Steps:

  • In a food processor or blender, puree peaches.
  • In a 3 quart container, combine peaches and remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and chill for 5 hours to allow the flavors to blend.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, juicy peaches: The quality of your peaches will greatly impact the flavor of your wine coolers. Look for peaches that are fragrant, have a deep orange color, and give slightly when you press them. Avoid peaches that are bruised or have brown spots.
  • Use a good quality white wine: The type of white wine you use will also affect the flavor of your wine coolers. Choose a white wine that is light and refreshing, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Moscato.
  • Chill your wine and peaches before making the coolers: This will help to keep them cold and refreshing.
  • Add a splash of sparkling water or club soda for a fizzy twist: This is optional, but it can add a nice touch of effervescence to your wine coolers.
  • Garnish your wine coolers with fresh mint or basil: This will add a pop of color and flavor.

Conclusion:

Peach wine coolers are a delicious and refreshing way to enjoy the flavors of summer. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you prefer them sweet, tart, or somewhere in between, there is a peach wine cooler recipe out there for you.
