Tips for Baking the Perfect Peach Pie:

  • Use fresh, ripe peaches: This will ensure the best flavor and texture in your pie.
  • Peel the peaches before slicing them: This will make it easier to eat the pie and will also prevent the skins from toughening up during baking.
  • Add a little bit of sugar to the peaches before baking: This will help to draw out their natural juices and prevent them from becoming dry.
  • Don't overfill the pie crust: Otherwise, the pie will be difficult to assemble and the filling may spill out during baking.
  • Bake the pie at a high temperature for the first 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature: This will help to create a crispy crust and prevent the filling from bubbling over.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving: This will allow the filling to set and the flavors to develop.
