Tips:

  • Use ripe peaches. This will ensure that your bars are bursting with flavor. If you don't have ripe peaches, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with an apple or banana.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the bars hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the bars until they are just set. Overbaking will make the bars dry and crumbly. A toothpick inserted into the center of the bars should come out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help prevent them from falling apart.

Conclusion:

Peach almond bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their sweet and juicy peaches, nutty almond filling, and buttery crust, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give peach almond bars a try. You won't be disappointed!
