Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: For this recipe, it's best to use firm and waxy potatoes like Yukon Gold or fingerling potatoes. These potatoes hold their shape well and won't get mushy when cooked.
  • Cook the potatoes until they are tender but still slightly firm: You don't want the potatoes to be too soft, or they will fall apart when you toss them with the other ingredients.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs like oregano, basil, and thyme add a lot of flavor to this dish. If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the potatoes, make sure not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The potatoes will start to lose their crispy texture if they sit for too long.

Conclusion:

Patates Riganates is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of crispy potatoes, flavorful herbs, and tangy tomatoes makes this a dish that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and tasty meal, give Patates Riganates a try!
