It was absolutely delicious and I thought, 'What the heck, I'll try making this at home.' I found a few recipes online, but none grabbed me. After studying several recipes, I came up with this recipe on my own. It's fairly simple to make, and my wife said it was better than the original.

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the dish will be. Look for fresh, flavorful vegetables, succulent chicken, and plump shrimp.
  • Cook the chicken and shrimp properly: Chicken and shrimp should be cooked through to avoid foodborne illness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F and the shrimp has reached an internal temperature of 120°F.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Pasta should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and unpleasant.
  • Use a flavorful sauce: The sauce is what brings all of the flavors of the dish together. Use a sauce that is flavorful and complements the other ingredients in the dish.
  • Garnish the dish: A simple garnish can add a pop of color and flavor to the dish. Try using fresh herbs, grated Parmesan cheese, or a drizzle of olive oil.
