MEATLOAF FOR A DINNER PARTY
Meatloaf is universally appealing. When properly made it's moist, holds it's shape when cut and presents well on the table. This meatloaf recipe is also made so it can be presented prettily on a circular tray or even cake plate with an attractive side dish in the center, and colorful garnish to set it off.

- Add bread crumbs or oats to the meatloaf mixture: This will help to bind the ingredients together and prevent the meatloaf from becoming too dry.
- Add an egg to the meatloaf mixture: This will also help to bind the ingredients together and make the meatloaf more tender.
- Season the meatloaf mixture generously with salt and pepper: You can also add other spices or herbs to taste.
- Form the meatloaf mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan: Bake the meatloaf in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour, or until it is cooked through.
