Time 42m

Yield 20 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

3 dozen frozen meatballs (I use Trader Joe's party meatballs)
1 cup teriyaki sauce (try Soy Vay brand Very Very Teriyaki! It's deelish!)
red pepper flakes, to taste

Steps:

  • Drop meatballs and about 1/2 to 1 cup teriyaki sauce in a crock pot.
  • Add red pepper flakes to taste (I like them hot so I add quite a bit!).
  • Simmer for about 20 to 40 minutes (depending on the size of the meatballs, how hot your crockpot is). You can test one meatball by cutting into it; once it is cooked through, they are done!
  • If you don't have a crockpot, you can do this over the stove, too! Just make sure you keep it on low and keep checking to make sure the meatballs don't burn on the bottom!
  • Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality frozen meatballs: Look for meatballs made with premium ingredients and no fillers. Applegate Naturals, Simply Balanced, and Aidell's are some popular brands that offer high-quality frozen meatballs.
  • Thaw the meatballs properly: To ensure even cooking, thaw the frozen meatballs completely before cooking them. You can thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or by placing them in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes.
  • Use a variety of sauces: Don't limit yourself to just one sauce. Experiment with different sauces to find the ones you and your guests enjoy the most. Some popular options include tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, and sweet and sour sauce.
  • Add your own personal touch: Feel free to add your own ingredients to the meatballs or sauce to make them your own. Some popular additions include diced onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and cheese.
  • Serve the meatballs as an appetizer or main course: Party meatballs can be served as an appetizer or main course. If serving as an appetizer, pair them with toothpicks or mini forks. If serving as a main course, serve them over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
