ITALIAN PARMESAN BREAD FOR BREAD MACHINE

Italian Parmesan Bread for Bread Machine image

I've been making this bread for years without measuring, and finally decided to write it down. My most requested bread from my bread-lovin' son. Makes the house smell divine!! You can easily increase the amounts of seasonings to your taste. (NOTE: Many people seem to be needing to add extra water, so I'm adding an adjustment to the recipe.)

PARMESAN ENCRUSTED PINE NUTS

Parmesan Encrusted Pine Nuts image

I recently visited a fancy restaurant that served Parmesan encrusted pine nuts in their Caesar salad. This is my near-perfect attempt to replicate these delicious salad toppers. The salad consisted of romaine lettuce, shredded Parmesan cheese, dressing, mixed croutons, and these pine nuts. They are sweet, savory, nutty, and delicious.

Tips:

  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the bread tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: This will help the dough to rise properly and give you a light and fluffy loaf of bread.
  • Bake the bread until it is golden brown: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
