Tips:

  • For the best results, use freshly grated potatoes. Pre-packaged shredded hash browns can be used, but they may not be as crispy.
  • Be sure to squeeze out as much excess moisture from the potatoes as possible before cooking. This will help them to brown and crisp up.
  • Use a large skillet or griddle to cook the hash browns. This will give them plenty of room to spread out and cook evenly.
  • Cook the hash browns over medium heat, stirring occasionally. This will help them to cook through without burning.
  • Once the hash browns are cooked through, add your favorite toppings, such as cheese, bacon, eggs, or salsa.

Conclusion:

Papa Tom's Cheesy Hash Browns are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch dish. They are perfect for a crowd, and they can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make the best cheesy hash browns at home.
