--1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
--1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus lemon wedges for serving

--1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
--1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus lemon wedges for serving

Steps:

  • Directions: Preheat oven to 475, with racks in top and bottom third. Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil; set aside. Place egg in a wide shallow bowl; season with salt and pepper. Tips:

  • Choose Tilapia Wisely: Look for sustainably-sourced tilapia with a firm texture and a mild, sweet flavor.
  • Season Thoroughly: Before coating the tilapia, season it with salt, pepper, and any herbs or spices you desire. This will enhance the flavor of the fish.
  • Use Panko Breadcrumbs: Panko breadcrumbs are made from crustless white bread and have a light and airy texture. They are perfect for creating a crispy coating on the tilapia.
  • Dip in Eggs: Before coating the tilapia in panko breadcrumbs, dip it in a beaten egg. This will help the breadcrumbs adhere to the fish.
  • Pan-Fry to Perfection: Pan-frying is a quick and easy way to cook tilapia. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom. Cook the tilapia for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
