1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup fresh orange juice

Tips:

  • For the freshest swordfish, look for fish that is firm to the touch and has a mild, briny smell.
  • If you can't find swordfish, you can substitute another firm, white fish, such as halibut, cod, or sea bass.
  • To make sure the swordfish is cooked evenly, use a fish spatula to gently flip it halfway through the cooking process.
  • The red onion citrus salsa is a great way to add flavor and brightness to the dish. Be sure to use fresh citrus juice for the best flavor.
  • If you don't have time to make the salsa, you can substitute a store-bought salsa or pico de gallo.

Conclusion:

Pan-seared peppered swordfish with red onion citrus salsa is a delicious and healthy meal that can be prepared in under 30 minutes. The swordfish is cooked to perfection, and the salsa adds a bright and flavorful touch. This dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.
