Tips:

  • Choose the right Brussels sprouts: Look for small, firm Brussels sprouts with tightly closed leaves. Avoid any that are wilted or have yellow or brown spots.
  • Trim the Brussels sprouts properly: Cut off the stem end and any discolored or damaged leaves. If the Brussels sprouts are large, you can also cut them in half or quarters.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When roasting Brussels sprouts, it's important not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly and becoming soggy.
  • Roast the Brussels sprouts at a high temperature: Roasting Brussels sprouts at a high temperature will help them to caramelize and develop a delicious flavor.
  • Season the Brussels sprouts well: Before roasting, be sure to season the Brussels sprouts with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices or herbs.
  • Add some bacon: Adding bacon to roasted Brussels sprouts is a great way to add flavor and richness. Just be sure to cook the bacon until it is crispy before adding it to the Brussels sprouts.
