Tips for Making the Best Pan-Fried Pork in Mustard Maple Sauce

  • Choose a high-quality cut of pork. Look for a pork chop that is at least 1 inch thick and has a good amount of marbling.
  • Tenderize the pork chops before cooking. This will help to make them more tender and juicy. You can tenderize them by pounding them with a meat mallet or by marinating them in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs.
  • Season the pork chops liberally with salt and pepper. This will help to bring out the flavor of the pork.
  • Cook the pork chops over medium-high heat. This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the pork chops while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Baste the pork chops with the mustard maple sauce while they are cooking. This will help to keep them moist and flavorful.
  • Serve the pork chops immediately with your favorite sides. Some good options include mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
