Tips:
- Use a buttermilk marinade: Buttermilk tenderizes the chicken and helps it to stay moist during cooking. You can also use yogurt or kefir as a substitute for buttermilk.
- Season the chicken well: Use a combination of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to season the chicken. You can also add other spices and herbs to taste.
- Coat the chicken in flour: Dredge the chicken in flour before frying it. This will help to create a crispy crust.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil: Heat the oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit before frying the chicken. This will help to create a crispy crust and prevent the chicken from sticking to the pan.
- Cook the chicken until it is golden brown: Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it is golden brown and cooked through. You can also use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Serve the chicken with your favorite dipping sauce: Oven-fried chicken tenders are delicious served with a variety of dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.
Conclusion:
Oven-fried chicken tenders are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that the whole family will enjoy. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend party. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a crispy, flavorful chicken dish that will be a hit with everyone at the table.
