Tips:

  • Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. This will help them cook evenly and reduce the risk of overcooking.
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper before breading them. This will help to enhance their flavor.
  • Use a light hand when breading the chicken breasts. Too much breading will make them greasy and heavy.
  • Cook the chicken breasts in a preheated oven. This will help them to cook evenly and prevent them from drying out.
  • Bake the chicken breasts for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken breasts rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help them to retain their juices.

Conclusion:

Oven-baked chicken cordon bleu is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover chicken. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a restaurant-quality meal in your own kitchen.
