I got this recipe off the 'Taste of Home' web site. I haven't tried it yet, but wanted to post it here for safe keeping, because it looks relatively easy to do, and I love chicken and dumplings. This is an easier version of what my mother used to make. I will update after I make it.

Tips:
- Choose the right chicken. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs are the best choices for this casserole. They cook quickly and evenly, and they won't dry out.
- Make sure your dumplings are cooked through. The dumplings should be light and fluffy, but they should also be cooked through. To check, insert a toothpick into the center of a dumpling. If it comes out clean, the dumplings are done.
- Don't overcook the casserole. The chicken and dumplings should be cooked through, but you don't want to overcook them. Overcooked chicken is tough and dry, and overcooked dumplings are mushy.
- Serve the casserole hot. Chicken and dumplings is a comfort food that is best served hot. Top it with a dollop of gravy or sour cream, and enjoy!
Conclusion:
Chicken and dumplings is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and always a hit with the family. This oven-baked version is a great way to enjoy this classic dish without having to spend hours in the kitchen. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a delicious and satisfying chicken and dumplings casserole on the table in no time.
