Tips:

  • When choosing beef for tacos, look for a cut that is well-marbled, as this will help to keep the meat moist during cooking.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can check the doneness of the beef by cutting into it. The meat should be cooked through, but still slightly pink in the center.
  • Be sure to season the beef well with chili powder, cumin, and salt. You can also add other spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or cayenne pepper, to taste.
  • If you are using a slow cooker, cook the beef on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  • If you are using an oven, bake the beef at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1-2 hours, or until the meat is cooked through.
  • Once the beef is cooked, shred it with two forks or a meat shredder.
  • Serve the beef tacos with your favorite toppings, such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
