Tips:

  • Use fresh oranges: Freshly squeezed orange juice adds a vibrant and tangy flavor to the sauce. You'll need about 2-3 oranges to get the 1/2 cup of juice required for the recipe.
  • Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should be cooked just until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Overcooking will make it too thick and syrupy.
  • Taste the sauce as you go: Adjust the amount of honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder to your liking. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little bit of heat.
  • Serve the sauce warm: The sauce is best served warm, but it can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Enjoy the sauce with your favorite foods: This sauce is perfect for dipping chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. It can also be used as a marinade or glaze for grilled meats.

Conclusion:

This Outback Steakhouse Orange Dipping Sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used with a variety of foods. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you're serving it with chicken, shrimp, vegetables, or grilled meats, this sauce is sure to be a hit.
