Tips:

  • Prepare Ingredients Accurately: Ensure all ingredients are measured correctly to achieve the desired cake texture and flavor.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh ingredients, especially eggs, butter, and milk, contribute to a richer taste and better texture.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar Thoroughly: Creaming butter and sugar together until light and fluffy incorporates air, resulting in a spongier cake.
  • Add Eggs Gradually: Gradually add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to prevent curdling.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients Separately: Combine dry ingredients, such as flour, baking powder, and salt, in a separate bowl to distribute them evenly.
  • Mix Gently: Once the wet and dry ingredients are combined, mix gently until just incorporated to avoid overmixing, which can result in a tough cake.
  • Bake at the Right Temperature: Preheat the oven to the specified temperature and bake the cake for the recommended time to achieve the desired doneness.
  • Cool Completely: Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • Decorate Creatively: Use various frosting techniques, sprinkles, candies, or fresh fruits to decorate the cake and make it visually appealing.
