Tips:

  • Chill the dough:Chilling the dough will make it easier to work with and will help the cookies hold their shape better in the oven.
  • Use fresh oranges:Fresh oranges will give your cookies the best flavor. If you don't have fresh oranges, you can use frozen or canned orange juice concentrate.
  • Don't overmix the dough:Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use a cookie scoop:A cookie scoop will help you get evenly sized cookies. If you don't have a cookie scoop, you can use a tablespoon.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set: The cookies should be slightly golden brown around the edges and the tops should be firm to the touch. If you overbake the cookies, they will be dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

These orange slice cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy with a sweet and citrusy flavor. The orange glaze gives them a beautiful shine and a extra boost of orange flavor. These cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
