Time 1h

Number Of Ingredients 6

1(3 oz) box orange jello
6 oz hot water
5 oz mandarian juice (save from oranges)
4 0z premade whipped topping (like cool whip)
2 1/2 oz. orange sherbet
1 can mandarian oranges (drained well, save juice)

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve jello in hot water and juice combination. Add softened orange sherbet. Refrigerated till consistency of egg whites
  • 2. remove jello mixture from refrigerator and fold in whipped topping and drained mandarian oranges
  • 3. refrigerate till set .

Tips:

  • Use ripe oranges. Ripe oranges have a sweeter flavor and will produce a more flavorful sherbet.
  • Zest the oranges before juicing them. The zest contains the most flavor, so be sure to add it to the sherbet mixture.
  • Use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the orange juice. This will remove any pulp or seeds from the juice.
  • Chill the orange juice and the sherbet base before churning. This will help the sherbet to set up properly.
  • Churn the sherbet according to the manufacturer's instructions. Over-churning can make the sherbet icy.
  • Freeze the sherbet for at least 4 hours before serving. This will allow the sherbet to firm up and develop its full flavor.

Conclusion:

Orange sherbet jello is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make a delicious orange sherbet jello that will be enjoyed by everyone.
