Tips:
- Choose the right cut of pork: Pork shoulder or pork butt is a good choice for this recipe because it is a tough cut that becomes tender when braised. Other good options include pork loin or pork tenderloin.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When you brown the pork, do it in batches if necessary. Overcrowding the pan will prevent the pork from browning evenly.
- Use a good quality orange juice: Freshly squeezed orange juice is best, but you can also use bottled orange juice. Just make sure that it is 100% orange juice and not a blend of orange juice and other juices.
- Roast the vegetables at a high temperature: This will help them to caramelize and develop a delicious flavor.
- Serve the pork and vegetables immediately: This dish is best served hot out of the oven.
Conclusion:
This orange-scented pork bake with roasted root vegetables is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The pork is tender and flavorful, and the vegetables are roasted to perfection. This dish is sure to please everyone at your table.
