ORANGE SLUSH
This recipe was given to me by a dear friend who lives in Northern Indiana. She and her family always makes us feel so welcome when we come up for a visit and the food and drinks are always yummo! You can leave out the vodka and make this recipe kid friendly. This is a super drink for a slow Sunday afternoon, especially with a cookout. I pour this into a large thermal carafe and place it in a cooler when we go camping or spend a day at the lake.Bon appetit! --

Tips:
- Choose ripe oranges: Ripe oranges are sweeter and juicier, resulting in a more flavorful slush.
- Use fresh mint leaves: Fresh mint leaves provide a refreshing and aromatic taste to the slush. If using dried mint, reduce the amount to 1/4 cup.
- Chill the orange juice and sparkling water before blending: This will help the slush freeze faster and smoother.
- Add ice cubes gradually: Adding ice cubes gradually helps prevent the slush from becoming too icy and slushy.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference: If you prefer a sweeter slush, add more sugar or honey to taste.
- Garnish with orange slices and mint leaves: This adds a pop of color and flavor to the slush.
Conclusion:
This orange mint slush recipe is a refreshing and flavorful summer treat that is easy to make at home.
