FRUIT SALAD WITH ORANGE LIQUEUR
I tossed this together at the last second for a fruit salad and it turned out wonderful. I did not have time to chill the salad, but it was fine at room temp. Use cold fruit so the salad does not have to be chilled before serving or bananas and apples may turn brown.

ORANGE-VANILLA LIQUEUR
Doesn't exactly taste like creamsicles, but similar--the vanilla does soften the bite of the orange somewhat in that direction. To drink in liqueur glasses or pour over ice cream, angelfood cake, etc. Makes a delightful gift. Be sure to use vanilla extract, not imitation vanilla flavoring; the same goes for the orange extract. Times listed do not include 2 weeks for the liqueur to sit and infuse.

CHAMPAGNE PUNCH WITH RASPBERRY & ORANGE LIQUEUR RECIPE - (4.2/5)
Provided by sandycon
Number Of Ingredients 9
Steps:
- Chill the champagne and fruit juice. Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, until the sugar dissolves. Pour into a shallow dish. Then mix the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar with the ground ginger. Place in a separate shallow dish for dipping. In a large punch bowl, mix the champagne, juice and both liqueurs. Garnish with orange slices, raspberries and ginger slices. To serve, dip the rims of the punch glasses into the simple syrup. Then immediately dip them in the ginger sugar. Ladle the punch into the glasses and pass around. Cheers!
Tips:
- To extract the maximum flavor from the orange zest, use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest in thin strips. Avoid the white pith, as it can impart a bitter taste.
- Use high-quality vodka for the best results. A good vodka will have a clean, neutral flavor that won't overpower the orange flavor.
- Let the orange liqueur infuse for at least 2 weeks before enjoying. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
- Store the orange liqueur in a cool, dark place. It will last for several months.
- Enjoy the orange liqueur on its own, or use it in cocktails, desserts, or other recipes.
Conclusion:
Making orange liqueur at home is a fun and rewarding experience. With just a few simple ingredients and a little patience, you can create a delicious and versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many different ways. So next time you have some oranges on hand, give this recipe a try!
