ORANGE JULIUS ROLL-UPS (DEHYDRATOR) (RAW FOODS)

Orange Julius Roll-Ups (Dehydrator) (Raw Foods) image

Adapted from a recipe on the Nesco Dehydrators website. This is a basic recipe and I'm not sure yet how many batches of it are needed to fill up a roll-up dehydrator sheet. Two batches didn't fill it up and my "roll-ups" came out lacy. But still good and gobble-worthy. The website says the sheets will hold 3 cups worth.

2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
8 -10 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into blender and mix until ice is crushed.

Tips:

  • Use a large cutting board and a sharp knife to cut the oranges and bananas into thin slices. This will make it easier to roll them up.
  • If the oranges are very juicy, you may want to pat them dry with paper towels before slicing them. This will help prevent the rolls from becoming too soggy.
  • Be careful not to overfill the rolls. If you put too much fruit inside, they will be difficult to roll up and may fall apart.
  • If you are using a non-stick skillet, you may not need to grease it. However, if you are using a regular skillet, you should grease it lightly with cooking spray or butter to prevent the rolls from sticking.
  • Cook the rolls over medium heat. This will help prevent them from burning.
  • Serve the rolls warm or at room temperature. They can be garnished with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.

Conclusion:

Orange Julius roll-ups are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or breakfast treat. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for later. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy these tasty treats any time you like!
