Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. If you're using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the grill: When grilling the chicken, make sure to leave enough space between each piece so that they can cook evenly. If you overcrowd the grill, the chicken will steam instead of grill and won't have that nice charred flavor.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: This will help to prevent the chicken from burning on the outside and staying raw on the inside. If you're using a gas grill, set the temperature to medium-high. If you're using a charcoal grill, let the coals burn down until they're glowing red.
  • Baste the chicken with the marinade: Basting the chicken with the marinade while it's grilling will help to keep it moist and flavorful. Use a pastry brush to apply the marinade evenly to the chicken every few minutes.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: Once the chicken is cooked through, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

This orange grilled chicken with green salad is a delicious and healthy meal that's perfect for a summer cookout. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the salad is light and refreshing. The combination of flavors and textures in this dish is sure to please everyone at your table. So fire up the grill and give this recipe a try!
