DREMA'S ORANGE GLAZE COCKTAIL WEINERS
This little smokies recipe is perfect if you're looking for an easy appetizer. The sauce has everything in it - sweetness from the brown sugar, sour from the orange juice, and tanginess from the mustard. When the brown sugar melts into the orange juice it creates a superb glaze. These aren't your typical BBQ smokies. Thanks to...

ANNA'S ORANGE MARMALADE
Steps:
- Cut the oranges and lemons in half crosswise, then into very thin half-moon slices. (If you have a mandoline, this will be quite fast.) Discard any seeds. Place the sliced fruit and their juices into a stainless-steel pot. Add 8 cups water and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Cover and allow to stand overnight at room temperature.
- The next day, bring the mixture back to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for about 2 hours. Turn the heat up to medium and boil gently, stirring often, for another 30 minutes. Skim off any foam that forms on the top. Cook the marmalade until it reaches 220 degrees F on a candy thermometer. If you want to be doubly sure it's ready, place a small amount on a plate and refrigerate it until it's cool but not cold. If it's firm -- neither runny nor too hard -- it's done. It will be a golden orange color. (If the marmalade is runny, continue cooking it and if it's too hard, add more water.)
- Pour the marmalade into clean, hot Mason jars; wipe the rims thoroughly with a clean damp paper towel, and seal with the lids. Store in the pantry for up to a year.

SIMPLE ORANGE GLAZE
This glaze is fresh and delicious. It uses real orange juice, not the stuff out of the container. It adds a real nice kick to angel food cake or any kind of loaf cake.

HOMEMADE BEANIE WEENIES
My sons loved this dish when they were young and the oldest one still does. It's a quick fix for a busy week night or weekend. What I love about them you can add more beans or franks. You might want to add a little brown sugar or even barbeque sauce, but this is the way I make them everytime.

Tips:
- Select plump and juicy sausages: Choose high-quality sausages that are plump and have a good meat-to-fat ratio. This will ensure that they cook evenly and have a succulent texture.
- Use fresh orange juice: Fresh orange juice adds a vibrant citrus flavor to the glaze. Avoid using store-bought orange juice, as it often contains preservatives and additives that can alter the taste of the glaze.
- Simmer the glaze until it thickens: Simmering the glaze allows the flavors to meld and develop. Continue simmering until the glaze thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon.
- Baste the sausages frequently: Basting the sausages with the glaze while they cook helps keep them moist and flavorful. Use a pastry brush to apply the glaze evenly.
- Cook the sausages until they are golden brown: Cook the sausages until they are golden brown and cooked through. This will ensure that they are safe to eat and have a delicious caramelized flavor.
