1 cup cream
2 egg whites* (See Disclaimer)
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Juice of 3 oranges (1 cup orange juice)
Zest of 1 orange

Steps:

  • Using a popsicle mold or wax paper cups, fill the molds and insert the popsicle sticks. Place in the freezer overnight and serve.

Tips:

  • For the best results, use fresh oranges. The zest and juice from fresh oranges will give the cake a brighter, more citrusy flavor.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Be sure to grease and flour the bundt pan before baking. This will help the cake to come out of the pan easily.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the cake tough.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • For a richer frosting, use heavy cream instead of milk.
  • Decorate the cake with orange slices, sprinkles, or other decorations of your choice.
