My great grandmother would have been so proud. You can make sour milk by combining 1/2 cup of milk with 1 teaspoon vinegar and allow to set 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor. You can use semisweet, milk, or dark chocolate chips, depending on your preference. For an extra special treat, try using a combination of different types of chocolate chips.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the cookies tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much in the oven. You can chill the dough for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature. The cookies should be baked at a moderate temperature of 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  • Don't overbake the cookies. Overbaking can make the cookies dry and crumbly. Keep an eye on the cookies while they're baking and remove them from the oven as soon as they're done.

Conclusion:

Orange chocolate drop cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're soft and chewy, with a perfect balance of orange and chocolate flavor. Whether you're baking them for a party, a potluck, or just a snack, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
