Tips:

  • Use fresh blueberries. Fresh blueberries will give your scones the best flavor. If you don't have fresh blueberries, you can use frozen blueberries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Grate the orange zest finely. This will help release the orange flavor into your scones.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing the dough will make your scones tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help the scones to rise and will also make them easier to handle.
  • Bake the scones until they are golden brown. The scones are done baking when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Conclusion:

Orange blueberry scones are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast treat. They are perfect for a brunch or a special occasion. With their bright citrus flavor and sweet blueberries, these scones are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
