Time 53m

Yield 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 cups Bisquick
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup chopped pecans
paper baking cup
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Combine Bisquick and 1/4 cup sugar in a large bowl; make a well in the center of mixture.
  • Combine egg, orange juice, and oil; add to biscuit mixture, stirring just until moistened.
  • Stir in marmalade and pecans.
  • Place paper baking cups in muffin pans; spoon batter into cups, filling two-thirds full.
  • Combine 3 tablespoons sugar and next 3 ingredients; sprinkle evenly over batter.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 18 minutes or until done.

Tips:

  • Use fresh oranges. Fresh oranges will give your muffins the best flavor. If you don't have fresh oranges, you can use orange juice, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Zest the oranges before juicing them. This will help to release the orange oils, which will give your muffins a more intense flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make your muffins tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use cupcake liners. Cupcake liners will help to keep your muffins from sticking to the pan. You can also use a muffin pan that has been greased and floured.
  • Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will ensure that your muffins are cooked through.

Conclusion:

Orange blossom muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. With their bright citrus flavor and delicate floral aroma, these muffins are sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying treat, give orange blossom muffins a try!
