Number Of Ingredients 10

4 thick center-cut pork chops (trimmed)
4 medium peeled and quartered potatoes
4 peeled carrots, quartered
1 medium onion, cut in wedges
1 elephant garlic clove (optional)
1/4 lemons or 1/4 lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons cajun spices
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
3 tablespoons mesquite smoker wood chips

  • Brush everything with marinade or spray with Pam.
  • Close lid and place on grill or stove-top.
  • Smoke over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  • Check for doneness before serving.

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops. Bone-in pork chops are more flavorful than boneless pork chops, but they take longer to cook. If you're short on time, you can use boneless pork chops.
  • Season the pork chops well. Pork chops can be bland, so it's important to season them well. Use a variety of spices, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Brown the pork chops before cooking them. Browning the pork chops helps to seal in the juices and give them a nice caramelized flavor.
  • Cook the pork chops to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure that the pork chops are cooked through but still juicy.
  • Let the pork chops rest before serving. Letting the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making them more tender and flavorful.

One-pot pork chops are a quick, easy, and delicious meal that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
