Tips for Olive Nut Spread

- Fresh, high-quality nuts are essential for a flavorful spread. Look for nuts that are plump and free of blemishes. - Toasting the nuts before using will bring out their flavor and make them more fragrant. - Use a food processor or blender to grind the nuts into a fine powder. This will help the spread to be smooth and creamy. - If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can chop the nuts finely by hand. However, this will take longer and the nuts may not be as finely ground. - Add olive oil slowly to the food processor or blender while it is running. This will help to emulsify the oil and water, creating a smooth and creamy spread. - Season the spread to taste with salt and pepper. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika. - Serve the olive nut spread immediately or store it in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
