OLD BAY® SHRIMP AND PASTA ALFREDO

Old Bay® Shrimp and Pasta Alfredo image

This recipe came from my Italian family. It is not only delicious but so quick and easy. Measurements really aren't necessary--make it your own. You can't go wrong with too much seasoning or too little. Go easy on the lemon is my only recommendation. Unless you love lemon! Adding Parmesan cheese is really delish and the Alfredo sauce gives it a nice hot and creamy texture.

½ cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped, or to taste

Tips:

  • Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp has a sweeter, more delicate flavor than frozen shrimp. If you must use frozen shrimp, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • Cook the shrimp properly: Shrimp cooks quickly, so it's important not to overcook it. Overcooked shrimp will be tough and rubbery.
  • Use a good quality Alfredo sauce: A good Alfredo sauce will make all the difference in this dish. Look for a sauce that is made with real cream and butter, and that has a rich, creamy flavor.
  • Add some vegetables: Vegetables add color, flavor, and nutrients to this dish. Some good options include broccoli, zucchini, and mushrooms.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs: Fresh herbs add a pop of color and flavor to this dish. Some good options include parsley, basil, and chives.

Conclusion:

This Old Bay shrimp and pasta Alfredo is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The shrimp is cooked in a flavorful Old Bay seasoning, and the creamy Alfredo sauce is the perfect complement to the shrimp and pasta. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
