1/4 tsp pepper
1 1 /2 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano

Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2lbs boneless pork chops (6 4 oz portions) - i used thick center cut chops
1 c ketchup
1/3 c honey
1/4 c soy sauce
3 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl stir together ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic. Forgot to get a picture.
  • 2. I sprayed my broiler pan with cooking spray. Place the chops on broiler tray. Lightly season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • 3. Brush each chop with the sauce to coat.
  • 4. I then placed oven rack two notches down from the top. Place chops in the oven. Broil about 5 minutes, baste. Broil another 5 minutes; turn chop, baste. Keep turning and basting until chops are cooked. Mine took about 20 minutes each side. Mine were thick, may not take as long for a thinner chop. Remember to liberally baste often. These are delicious chops. I hope you try them. The sauce would be great on chicken also.

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for chops that are 1 inch thick and have little to no marbling. This will ensure they cook evenly and stay tender.
  • Brine the pork chops: Brining the pork chops in a mixture of salt, water, and spices helps to tenderize them and infuse them with flavor. Be sure to brine the chops for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours.
  • Brown the pork chops: Browning the pork chops in a hot skillet before baking them helps to develop flavor and create a crispy crust. Be sure to sear the chops for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown.
  • Bake the pork chops: After browning, transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and bake them in a preheated oven until they are cooked through. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the chops, but it should take about 15-20 minutes.
  • Let the pork chops rest: Once the pork chops are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chops, making them more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Oh So Good Boneless Chops Cassies is a delicious and easy-to-make recipe that is perfect for any occasion. The pork chops are tender and juicy, and the sauce is flavorful and rich. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that your family and friends will love.
