Tips for Making Oatmeal Banana Bread Cookies

- **Use ripe bananas:** The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cookies will be. - **Mash the bananas well:** This will help to ensure that the cookies are smooth and evenly textured. - **Use old-fashioned oats:** Old-fashioned oats will give your cookies a chewier texture than quick oats. - **Don't overmix the dough:** Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined. - **Chill the dough before baking:** Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies to hold their shape better. - **Bake the cookies at a high temperature:** This will help the cookies to develop a crispy exterior and a soft and chewy interior.
