BROWN SUGAR OATMEAL BREAD
This I found to be a heavy type, chewy, peasant like bread. But, very tasty & filling. I have made this so many more times, some times I get a really light loaf, using the bread machine yeast. When I used the regular yeast it turned out into a heavy peasant type bread. I have also taken to sprinkling the bottom of the pans heavily...

TOASTED OAT OATMEAL BREAD
I found this in a Pillsbury Bread Baking booklet and it quickly became my family's favorite recipe for oatmeal bread, delicious for toasting and sandwiches. I have even wrapped loaves up in pretty cellophane or plastic wrap and given them as gifts! I don't always add the oatmeal topping, but it makes for a prettier loaf.

Tips:
- For a crispy crust and a soft, fluffy interior, use a combination of all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour.
- Make sure the oatmeal is finely ground before adding it to the bread dough. This will help it absorb more liquid and create a more even texture.
- Use dark brown sugar for a richer flavor. If you don't have dark brown sugar, you can make your own by adding molasses to light brown sugar.
- Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the bread tough.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size. This will help the bread develop a light and airy texture.
- Bake the bread in a preheated oven. This will help the bread cook evenly.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
Conclusion:
Oatmeal and brown sugar toasting bread is a delicious, nutritious, and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover oatmeal and brown sugar, and it is also a healthier alternative to white bread.
