Time 1h3m

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oats
1 cup dates, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cookies will be.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature: Baking the cookies at a high temperature will help them develop a crispy exterior and a chewy interior.
  • Don't overbake the cookies: Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly. Bake the cookies just until they are set and the edges are just beginning to brown.
