3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons finely chopped pecans or pistachios
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 pound fish fillets (about 1/2 inch thick)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, pecans or pistachios, salt and pepper. Place the flour in a shallow bowl and the milk in another bowl. 1 egg
1 1/2 pounds fish fillets

  • In a blender or the bowl of a food processor, combine the bread crumbs, garlic, oregano, grated lemon peel, salt, and pepper, and process until well blended. 6 white fish fillets, such as tilapia or flounder
1/8 cup dry white wine, such as Chardonnay or 1/8 cup pinot grigio wine
1/8 cup fresh lime juice
1/8 cup olive oil
1 egg
2 cups crushed walnuts
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs, breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon white pepper

Steps:

  • Marinate fish in wine, olive oil, and lime juice at least two hours, until ready to coat. Reserve marinade.
  • In large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, walnuts, and spices.
  • Beat the egg and dip each fillet into egg.
