Tips:

  • Use fresh pineapple for the best flavor. Canned pineapple can be used in a pinch, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Be sure to drain the pineapple well before adding it to the cake batter. Otherwise, the cake will be too wet.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • The cake should be baked until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • For a creamier frosting, use heavy cream instead of milk.
  • If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
  • For a more festive cake, decorate it with additional pineapple slices, cherries, or sprinkles.

Conclusion:

Noni's Famous Heavenly Pineapple Delight Cake is a delicious and easy-to-make cake that is perfect for any occasion.
