QUICK KETO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Quick Keto Chocolate Mousse image

When a sweet craving hits, you'll have this chocolate mousse ready in no time. No need to pre-whip the heavy cream - just throw everything into a bowl and mix! Use any keto-friendly granular sweetener that measures like sugar. I prefer the powdered version of Swerve®, since it dissolves better. Adjust cocoa powder and sweetener amounts to suit your tastes. This is quite rich, so you don't need a lot to feel satisfied.

SUGAR FREE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TO DIE FOR!!!

Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse to Die For!!! image

I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes. I like this with the smaller amount of cream, for a sturdier texture, but I know folks who like it with the larger amount, for a fluffier texture. Your choice! Try it with vanilla pudding and a half-teaspoon of extra vanilla, too!

Tips:

  • For a richer mousse, use dark chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • To make the mousse ahead of time, prepare it up to 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can make the mousse by hand. Simply melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the melted chocolate to the egg whites, whipping constantly until the mixture is thick and mousse-like.
  • To make the mousse even more decadent, top it with whipped cream or fresh berries.

Conclusion:

This no-sugar, no-fat chocolate mousse is a delicious and healthy dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a good source of protein and fiber, and it is also low in calories and carbohydrates. The mousse is also very easy to make, and it can be prepared in just a few minutes.
