NO BAKE GRANOLA BARS

Great quick and easy granola bar recipe that kids can make. Perfect to throw in lunches or in your purse for travel. You can also add 1/4 cup wheat germ without changing the consistency. Change up the dried fruit, nuts, and chocolate for different flavors. I generally keep the bars in the refrigerator until I am ready to eat them, but these keep well to take to work or school.

Tips:

  • Make sure your peanut butter is creamy and smooth. If it is too chunky, the bars will not hold together properly.
  • Use a good quality honey or maple syrup. This will help to bind the bars together and give them a delicious flavor.
  • If you do not have any old-fashioned oats, you can use quick oats. However, the bars will not be as chewy.
  • Be careful not to overcook the peanut butter mixture. If it is overcooked, the bars will be dry and crumbly.
  • Press the bars firmly into the pan. This will help them to hold together better.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.

Conclusion:

These no-bake peanut butter granola bars are a delicious and easy-to-make snack. They are perfect for busy families or individuals who are looking for a healthy and portable treat. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a batch of these bars in no time. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy snack, give these no-bake peanut butter granola bars a try!
