Tips:

  • To achieve the best results, make sure to use cold cream cheese and butter. This will help the cheesecake filling set properly.
  • When assembling the cheesecake, press the graham cracker crust firmly into the bottom of the springform pan. This will help prevent the crust from crumbling when you slice the cheesecake.
  • Be patient when chilling the cheesecake. It needs at least 4 hours to set properly, but overnight is even better.
  • If you don't have a springform pan, you can use a 9-inch pie plate. Just be sure to trim the graham cracker crust so that it fits inside the plate.
  • You can use any type of apple pie filling for this recipe. If you're using a store-bought filling, be sure to drain it well before using.
  • If you don't have any lemon juice, you can use white vinegar instead.
  • For a more decadent cheesecake, you can add a layer of whipped cream or ice cream to the top.
