Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon: Use fresh, wild-caught salmon if possible. Look for fillets that are firm and have a vibrant color.
  • Make sure the glaze is thick enough: The glaze should be thick enough to coat the salmon evenly. If it's too thin, it will run off the fish.
  • Don't overcook the salmon: Salmon is a delicate fish, so it's easy to overcook it. Cook it until it's just cooked through, or about 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
  • Let the salmon rest before serving: Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the fish.

Conclusion:

Nigel's Simple Salmon Glaze is a delicious and easy way to cook salmon. It's perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. The glaze is made with a few simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. So next time you're looking for a tasty and healthy salmon recipe, give this one a try.
