**Additional Recipes in the Article:**
* **Neely's Mustard Greens with Ham Hocks:** This variation on the classic recipe uses ham hocks instead of bacon for a more intense flavor. The ham hocks add a rich, smoky flavor to the broth and help to tenderize the mustard greens.
* **Neely's Mustard Greens with Turkey Bacon:** For a healthier version of this dish, try using turkey bacon instead of regular bacon. Turkey bacon is lower in fat and calories, but it still provides a delicious smoky flavor to the dish.
* **Neely's Mustard Greens with Sausage:** If you're looking for a more hearty dish, try adding some sausage to the recipe. Andouille sausage is a popular choice for this dish, but you can use any type of sausage that you like.
* **Neely's Mustard Greens with Black-Eyed Peas:** For a complete Southern meal, try serving these mustard greens with black-eyed peas. The black-eyed peas add a creamy texture and a nutty flavor to the dish.
NEELYS' BRAISED MUSTARD GREENS WITH BACON AND RAISINS
Recipe from Down Home with the Neelys from the Food Network. Yum, yum, yum! They serve this as a side dish with flank steak and mashed potatoes for a complete romantic meal. The chicken stock and bacon take away some of the bitterness of the greens (which I am convinced that you either love or hate) and the sweetness of the raisins is a great complimentary flavor!
