Tips

  • Choose fresh ingredients: Using fresh, high-quality ingredients will make a big difference in the flavor of your Navajo Commodity Wrap. Look for ripe tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and flavorful cheese.
  • Don't overcook the eggs: Overcooked eggs will be tough and rubbery. Cook them until they are just set, but still slightly runny in the center.
  • Be generous with the salsa: Salsa adds a lot of flavor and moisture to the wrap. Don't be afraid to use a lot of it.
  • Wrap the wrap tightly: This will help to keep all of the ingredients inside the wrap and prevent it from falling apart.
  • Serve immediately: Navajo Commodity Wraps are best served immediately after they are made. The tortilla will become soggy if it sits for too long.
