1 sprig fresh oregano, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled

Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, until tender, about 5 minutes. 1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
½ cup red wine
½ cup water
