Tips:

  • Use a quality ground beef: Opt for a lean ground beef with a fat content of 85% or less. This will help reduce the amount of grease in the dish.
  • Brown the beef thoroughly: Browning the beef will help to develop its flavor and give the dish a richer taste.
  • Don't overcook the beef: Overcooked beef will become tough and dry. Cook it just until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Use a variety of cheeses: A blend of cheeses will give the dish a more complex flavor. Try using a combination of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Don't be afraid to add other toppings: In addition to the cheese, you can also add other toppings to your nacho beef bake, such as sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or sliced jalapeños.
