Steps:
- in a large serving bowl, mix together all the fruits.
- blend yogurt and orange juice together and pour over the fruit, mix well
- can add coconut and marshmallows if you choose... it's good with and without it.
- * can add other fruits as well... Kiwi is a favorite of mine, as are mandarine oranges, pomagranate seeds, and dried cranberries. Best to use whatever is in season.. this is just the way I usually make it. * this salad is just as tasty without the dressing, and if you choose you can substitute sour cream for the yogurt - if you do though I'd omit the orangejuice.
Tips:
- Use Fresh, Ripe Fruit: The key to a great fruit salad is using fresh, ripe fruit. This will ensure that your salad is packed with flavor and nutrients.
- Choose a Variety of Fruits: Don't be afraid to mix and match different fruits in your salad. The more variety you have, the more interesting and flavorful your salad will be.
- Cut the Fruit into Even Pieces: This will help ensure that the fruit cooks evenly and doesn't fall apart.
- Use a Light Dressing: A heavy dressing can overwhelm the delicate flavors of the fruit. Instead, opt for a light dressing, such as a simple syrup or honey-lime dressing.
- Chill the Salad Before Serving: This will help the flavors to meld and the salad will be more refreshing.
Conclusion:
Fruit salad is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy your favorite fruits. By following these tips, you can make a fruit salad that is packed with flavor and nutrients. So next time you're looking for a healthy snack or side dish, give fruit salad a try!
